The cost is $950 per day. Pricing includes lunch, fruit, snacks, beer, soda & water, boat skipper and crew. Maximum of 5 people, no minimum. Price does not include gratuity (average $50-$100 per crewmember).

The skipper is originally from Montana so language is not an issue. Trips run out of Carrillo January thru April, and out of Flamingo May thru December. September and October can be stormy. Book you trip in advance, especially for trips during February. 3-5 day fishing trips are recommended. Fish for Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo offshore, and catch Grouper, Snapper, and Roosterfish on the inside. You may fly fish for these species as well.

Hotels recommended in Carrillo are Guanamar, Sueno Tropical, or Punta Islita. Hotels in Flamingo are Hotel Sugar Beach, Flamingo marina Resort, or Paradisius. The approximate price per room double occupancy is about $135 per night plus 16% room tax.

All hotel staff are bilingual. Plan an extra couple of days sightseeing with a guide who can take you to places like Arenal volcano and hot springs, canopy tour, rain forest adventure, white water rafting, and much more.

Flights average $550.00 per person to San Jose, Costa Rica. Plus another $150.00 round trip to the cost on Sansa Air. When fishing out of Flamingo flying directly into Liberia is recommended. Food averages $40 per person. Tour guide with a nice vehicle $100 per day (does not include, gas, hotel room or food for guide).
